[Health Advisory: Wash hands often. Err on the side of caution if you aren’t feeling well. You can always play on another Indie night!]
… given the current climate, please bring your own pen or pencils and 6 sided dice! …
In this game you play kids and tweens in a 1980s that never was, solving Mysteries connected to the Loop, a huge “scientific reservation” where strange experiments go on day and night. Everyday Life is full of nagging parents, never-ending homework and classmates bullying and being bullied.
Mysteries let the characters encounter strange machines and weird creatures that have come to haunt the countryside after the Loop was built. The kids get to escape their everyday problems and be part of something meaningful and magical – but also dangerous.
I’ll have partially generated characters that you’ll be able to customize. (Or bring a starting character of your own!)
I can seat 3 to 5 players for this game.
Important: priority will be given to folks who join the event on Facebook at the Black Diamond Games roleplaying group (BDG Role Players). I encourage all interested parties to come even if you can’t sign up. Bring something along to play in case we need to accommodate more people! (Usually rules light stuff is best in these situations.)
As with other scheduled BDG events, on Indie Night there’s a $5 buy-in that is returned to you as store credit. (Always free to first timers, so come give it a try!)
